Nestled along the shoreline of a quiet New Hampshire lake, Lee’s Pond cottage is a peaceful haven surrounded by natural beauty amidst scenic views of woods and lake against the backdrop of the Ossipee Mountain range. Motorboats, jet skis, and the like are not allowed on our small lake, enhancing the cottage's sense of privacy and quiet.

Local wildlife include beavers, turtles, chipmunks, river otters, an occasional mink, or moose. Many species of birds inhabit the lake area including visiting loons, a family of resident great blue herons and daily visits of humming birds to the feeder on our deck.

Use our canoe or rowboat for boating adventures, such as circum-navigating the wooded island in the middle of Lee's Pond or exploring the marshy byways and beaver dams along the the stream that feeds Lee's Pond. Bass and pickerel abound in the lake. You may find, like us and many of our previous visitors, that the clean air and quiet beauty of our Lee’s Pond cottage setting has a way of seeping into your mind.

The cottage (1400 sq ft interior) is located off of Fox Hollow Road in Moultonborough NH. Moultonborough "center" (a 5 min drive away) features a few businesses, restaurants, a spacious modern public library with ample computer access, and the oldest country store in New Hampshire. Nearby towns of Center Harbor (10 min drive) and Meredith (20 min drive) offer grocery stores, laundry services, movie theaters, gourmet restaurants, and our favorite ice-cream stops, the Red Hill Dari and the Sandwich Creamery. The Lakes Region of New Hampshire and nearby White Mountains are bustling with a wide range of activities during these summer months.

Our modest 1960's cottage is equipped with:

• Wholesome and delicious water from our deep artesian well
• Kitchen: refrigerator, elctric stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender
• Bathroom: remodeled in 2004, fiberglass shower stall
• Living Room: fireplace (under repair 2009 - sorry), sliding glass patio doors, solid oak floor & natural pine walls, cathederal ceiling, telephone
• Bedrooms: (1) queen bed; (2) single bed
• Outdoors: wrap-around deck, outdoor furniture, private dock and swim float; canoe and rowboat with paddles & life jackets; clothesline, stone fire ring for safe campfires

Rental Rates 2010
Rental of our Lee's Pond cottage this year is $825 per week, with discount for multiple weeks.
